Miyetti Allah, Has Decided To End The Disagreement Between Its Members And Their Neighbours In The Southern Part Of The State

 


The association for cattle breeders in Kaduna, the Miyetti Allah, has decided to end the disagreement between its members and their neighbours in the southern part of the state.

 News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports on Sunday, September 6 that MACBAN - the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Kaduna chapter, said it will now work for the return of peace in Southern Kaduna.

“We have agreed to revert to our olden days' relationship with our neighbouring communities in Southern Kaduna. “We have resolved to be our brothers’ keeper henceforth in order to foster growth and development in the region," MACBAN said.

Kaduna governor will no doubt be pleased at the resolve for peace in the southern part of his state.

Source: UGC The association, however, had warnings for both its members and the farming community in order to prevent another extensive breakdown of law and order.

 “We call on our people to stop allowing underage children from rearing cattle in order to prevent further destruction of the farm produce within the area.

“In the same vein, we call on farmers to desist from blocking cattle routes both local and international,” the MACBAN communique read in part.

 The document was signed by Kaduna MACBAN chairman, Hassan Tugga, Southern Kaduna zonal chairman, Abdulhamid Musa; zonal secretary, Shuaibu Usman, and Director Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Zango.
